Two explosions thundered on the Sokolnicheskaya branch of the Moscow subway in the morning on March 29, 2010. At this moment 38 people died and about a hundred were injured. According to the Commission of Inquiry, explosives equaling about 1,5 kg in TNT were detonated by suicide bombers. This was a terrorist attack.

It must be noted that this is by no means the first terrorist attack in the Moscow subway. However, the frequency of similar attacks differs in different historical periods. During more than 50 years of Soviet history only one terrorist attack was made in 1977. The "Post soviet" subway system was attacked five times and every time the amount of dead and injured increased. The government reaction has always been almost the same: after every explosion the militia (not only in Moscow but also in other cities) is redeployed to a higher level of security for some time, while the number and thoroughness of passport checks has been increasing every year...

A regular plenary session of the Central Committee of RCYL(B) has been held on March 7, 2010 in Moscow under the chairmanship of secretary of organizational work, comrade Leshin.

The main issue discussed at the Plenary Session was preparation for the 2^nd ideological training session of RCYL(B) and the regular summer sports camp...

The Revolutionary Communist Youth League - RCYL(b) unites vanguard youth in the struggle to defeat the capitalist system, to put in place the rule of the working class and to make the forming of a communist society without classes possible.

RCYL(b) is guided by Marxist-Leninist theory.

At present, RCYL(b) sees its goal in the revolutionary turnaround of society onto a socialist path of development by organizing youth who are ready to defend the rights of the working class, winning over students and working youth and promoting communist and proletarian internationalist ideals among them.

The constitution, laws and moral standards of capitalist society are taken into account, but do not play a determining role in the actions of RCYL(b) - we use any forms and methods for our work which are not contrary to communist moral standards...

The long-running conflict in South Ossetia entered a more violent stage on August 8, 2008, when Georgian troops carried out an open aggression and intruded into South Ossetia, shelling the city of Tskhinvali with Grad missiles. The bourgeois regime of Sakashvili is trying to keep the illusion of Georgia’s national unity at all cost, without consideration for how many lives this may cost. Russia, who also got involved in this conflict, is sending a large number of military resources to the area of military action. There are already many victims on both sides.

Both in Russia and in Georgia, the governmental authorities are trying to use the conflict for their own benefit and this also includes promoting nationalistic hysteria, drawing the working-class peoples’ attention from internal problems and from class struggle. As rightly noted in the declaration of the Central Committee Secretariat of PKRP-RPK, working peoples’ attention is drawn away from real problems by shouts of "support our country!". RCYL(b) condemns this attempt to set workingmen of different countries against each other by using nationalistic feelings. Lenin wrote that "people have always been and will always remain dumb victims of deception and self-deception in politics until they learn to discern class interests behind the various moral, religious, political and social phrases, declarations and promises".

In the 21st of September 2007 high Hungary trial heard the case against the Hungary Communist Working Party. Secretary General Gyula Thürmer and six of the other secretaries, the whole of Central Committee was accused in public insult that according the law can be punished by the two years of imprisonment.

In July 2007 after of the European Parliament Election, ex-vice Secretary General of HCWP Attila Vajnai began a great campaign of critique the politics and ideology of the Party demanding the changes of the political course. The central point of his critique was the idea that communists should cooperate with Hungary Socialist Party, the ruling party since the 2002.

The most of members of the Central Committee and the most of ordinary members disdained the political platform of Attila Vajnai which was demanding the change of the whole political experience of the party...

On the 5^th-6^th of January 2007 in Moscow there was held regular VII Congress of the Revolutionary Communist Youth League - RCYL(B) that gathered, besides the delegates, comrades from a number of Komsomol representations. The Secretary of work with youth of the Central Committee of RCLP-RPC N.O. Glagoleva also took part in the Congress. With a greeting speech to the Congress there appeared the founder and the Honorary Chairman of RCYL(B) Comrade P.G. Bylevsky.

According to the message of the Central Committee the First Secretary of the Central Committee of RCYL(B) Comrade A.S. Batov opened the Congress. While the Congress was beginning, the Central Committee and the Central Control Commission resigned their plenary powers.

Comrade A.S. Batov made a speech with several theses of the Summary Report of the Central Committee. In the Report there examined Russia’s place in the capitalist world, the nature of Russian capitalism, the development of class struggle. Special attention was paid to the state of the youth in Russian Federation, to the typical youth problems connected with unemployment, education, accommodation, army, drugs, etc. In the Summary Report there was self-critically analyzed the work of the Central Committee during the current period and its difficulties. In the conclusive part there was given the appraisal of the perspectives of the further work and main aspects of the work were marked...

...The events of 1989-1991 — when the Soviet Union was dismembered and socialist and progressive governments were swept away from power by counterrevolutions — have split apart many of the progressive youth movements around the world fighting against imperialism, for peace, socialism or for broader social rights.

The Revolutionary Communist Youth League had already come in contact with the WFDY. In September 2003, at the 29th Festival of KNE in Athens, our representatives Viktor Bourenkov and Aleksandr Batov held negotiations with Miguel Madeira and other comrades from the Coordinating Council regarding the possible affiliation of RCYL(B) into the WFDY.

We had long ago established that our aims and objectives are aligned with those of WFDY...

While in different other countries (Russia is among them) many youth organizations which call themselves communist are up to their ears in discords and opportunism, a contrary example is shown by the Grecian Communist Youth. KNE is one of the few Komsomol organizations in the world which during the hard period of counter-revolutions managed to stand tall, to save its ideological line and to grow strong having become one of the flagmen of the world communist youth movement. Nowadays when the imperialists of every color are beginning their new crusade against communist ideology, communists need strong combat organizations like KNE. At the same time it is still actual for communists to solve the problem with struggle against various kids of opportunism and revisionism which are used by bourgeoisie to lead the people away from communism. And here we also might take our bearings to KNE who are the successive and irreconcilable fighters against different misrepresentation of Marxism. Lastly KNE give us an example of the true national organization which is connected with the help of thousand threads with the young workers, employees and students. The unbreakable bond with its class is the very thing that is needed by many communist and Komsomol organizations...

The World Social Forum (and its derivative, the European Social Forum) is closely linked to the imperialists, social-democrats, conservatives, the Vatican, and they are the forces that determine Forum's political line, as seen in many examples. Let us quote just several facts on the WSF and the ESF. Mr. Henrique Meirelles, former executive for FleetBoston, the governor of the Brazilian Central Bank and Forum's main sponsor has publicly declared that he wanted a quick and cheap war in Iraq that would not affect oil prices. The unjust character of the that war, the human victims, the destruction of cultural heritage, the violation of the elementary rights to self-determination were not a concern for Forum's organisers and participants. In particular, the World Social Forum in Pôrto Alegre only had six sessions on the Iraq war. But it was famous for the disputes over the bribes in the arrangements of power supply...

RCYL(B) involves the youth into practical struggle for a revolutionary defence of working-class interests, of social and political rights of the working-class youth within the bourgeois society. We enable young workers, students and the whole working class to take part in the preparation for the communist revolution and the realisation of communism...

Capital has developed into an internationally united force; thus it is imperative that the proletarians of all countries are united in a single international Army. The world capitalism will be defeated by a world communist revolution. RCYL(B) aspires the youth to take an active part in the forthcoming class battles.
